{"id":10,"date":"2011-01-09T17:34:30","date_gmt":"2011-01-09T22:34:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.susiedunham.org\/?page_id=10"},"modified":"2011-01-09T17:54:54","modified_gmt":"2011-01-09T22:54:54","slug":"about-susie","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.susiedunham.org\/?page_id=10","title":{"rendered":"About Susie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.susiedunham.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/susie_350.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-21\" title=\"susie_350\" src=\"http:\/\/www.susiedunham.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/susie_350-230x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"230\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.susiedunham.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/susie_350-230x300.jpg 230w, https:\/\/www.susiedunham.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/susie_350-153x200.jpg 153w, https:\/\/www.susiedunham.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/susie_350.jpg 269w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 230px) 100vw, 230px\" \/><\/a>Susan Frances Dunham, born in Cleveland, the first of two \u201clater in life,\u201d and unexpected children, spent her pre-school years living in an apartment above her father\u2019s furniture store on Lorain Avenue.\u00a0 \u201cJoe Ralph Furniture\u201d was a profitable but mostly a family operation, with her mother the bookkeeper and older siblings helping with manual labor.\u00a0 Susie spent all of her early summers in a cement block cottage on the shores of Lake Erie.\u00a0 Eventually, her father was hired as a manufacturer\u2019s rep in the furniture industry and her family moved to Port Clinton, Ohio, a small town on the shores of Lake Erie.<\/p>\n<p>Susie graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1972, and later graduated from Sandusky School of Practical Nursing in 1976.\u00a0 She worked as a nurse for three years in a hospital environment, five years in a nursing home setting and two years as a private duty nurse.<\/p>\n<p>In 1982, she married Markus Dunham, a math teacher, and in 1984, their only child Michael was born.
